A. What Information We Collect and How We Use It

1. Function-Related Data and Permission Handling

The purpose of collecting personal information is to provide you with products and/or services and to ensure our compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other normative documents. You have the right to choose whether to provide such information. However, in most cases, if you do not provide it, we may be unable to provide you with the corresponding service or respond to issues you encounter. These functions include, but are not limited to:

(1) Photo Album Organization

Function Description:

This function helps you scan and identify duplicate or similar photos in your device's album to help you manage and free up storage space.

Required Permission: Photo Library access permission.

How We Access and Use Your Data: When you use this function, we will request access to your "Photos" library. This is a necessary system-required permission. We perform local calculations and comparisons **only on your device** on your photos' metadata (such as file name, creation time, file size) and image features (such as pixel data, thumbnails) to identify duplicates. All scanning, comparison, and calculation processes are completed on your iPhone/iPad. Your original photos, screenshots, or videos **will not be uploaded** to the internet, our servers, or any third party.

Data Storage and Sharing: We do not store any of your photos or any image data generated by this function. This function does not share your photo data with any third party.

(2) Email Organization

Function Description:

This function helps you analyze and manage your mailbox, such as identifying spam, subscription emails, or archiving emails by category.

Required Permission: Mail account access permission (via iOS Mail extension).

How We Access and Use Your Data: To scan and organize your emails, we need your authorization to access your mail account. After your explicit consent, we will locally access your email headers, sender, recipient, timestamps, and email body content on your device. We use local algorithms (such as keywords, sender, etc.) for intelligent email categorization. All analysis is performed on the device. We do **not** read, store, or upload your email account passwords, email content, or any attachments to our servers.

Data Storage and Sharing: We do not store any of your email content, login credentials, or personal information on our servers. This function does not share your email data with any third party.

(3) Contacts Organization

Function Description:

Analyzes contacts offline, identifies potential duplicate contacts, incomplete or invalid entries (e.g., names without numbers, incorrectly formatted numbers). Upon your confirmation, performs operations such as merging duplicate contacts, cleaning invalid data, batch editing/deleting.

Required Permission: Contacts access permission.

How We Access and Use Your Data: This function reads your contacts for analysis and display, and writes your confirmed operations (merge, delete, modify) back to the system contacts.

Data Storage and Sharing: All processing logic for this function runs in the local memory of your device. There is no need to upload your contact data to our servers or any third-party cloud.

(4) Memory Cleanup

Function Description:

This function helps you identify cache, temporary files, and other unnecessary system junk on your device to optimize device performance.

Required Permission: Device storage space access permission.

How We Access and Use Your Data: This function scans cache, temporary files, etc., generated by Apps. It is based on storage analysis interfaces provided by the iOS system. It does not scan, access, or delete your personal data such as photos, contacts, messages, or personal documents. The process strictly follows the iOS sandbox mechanism, handling only data identified by the system as "cache" or data created by this App itself.

Data Storage and Sharing: This function does not involve collecting, storing, or sharing any of your personally identifiable information. We only collect aggregated data such as "amount of storage space processed" anonymously, for display of feature effectiveness within the app. This information cannot identify you personally.

(5) Gmail Access and Management (Including Email Deletion)

Function Description:

This feature helps users manage their Gmail mailbox, including intelligent email categorization, identifying spam and subscription emails, and deleting selected emails upon the user's explicit confirmation to improve mailbox efficiency and free up storage space.

Required Permission: Gmail account access permission (via Google OAuth authorization).

How We Access and Use Your Data: After your explicit authorization, we access your Gmail data within the scope you grant via Google OAuth, including email headers (sender, recipient, timestamps), subject lines, and email content, solely for providing email categorization, display, and deletion features. All email deletion actions require your explicit confirmation.

Data Processing (Temporary Processing, No Retention): To perform email categorization and deletion, the App temporarily accesses and processes your Gmail data only for the duration necessary to complete the requested actions. Such data exists only in device memory and is released immediately after processing. It is not retained.

Data Storage and Sharing: We do not store any Gmail email content, attachments, or login credentials on our servers, and we do not sell, rent, or share your mailbox data with any third parties.

Permission Revocation: You may revoke Gmail access at any time in iOS "Settings" > "Privacy & Security." Once revoked, the corresponding features will no longer be available. Deleted emails cannot be recovered.

Security and Compliance: We strictly comply with Google OAuth and Gmail API usage policies. We access Gmail data only within the scope you authorize and solely for providing email management and deletion features. We do not use Gmail data for advertising, marketing, user profiling, or training any artificial intelligence models, nor for any purposes unrelated to this feature.

2. Collection and Use of Device Information

To ensure the normal operation of the App, implement basic functions, and improve user experience, we may collect some device information that cannot personally identify an individual when necessary. This information is typically aggregated and anonymous.

1) Types of Device Information Collected:

·Device Model and System Information: Such as your iPhone or iPad model, operating system version number. This helps us with compatibility debugging and optimizing App performance.

·Application Performance Data: Such as App crash logs, performance data (e.g., loading times). This helps us diagnose and fix issues, ensuring stable App operation.

·Usage Data: Anonymized feature usage data (e.g., number of times the "Memory Cleanup" button is clicked). This helps us understand which features are most popular for improvement purposes.

2) How We Use Device Information:

·To ensure core functionality operation, e.g., identifying device model during memory cleanup to determine cache types that can be cleaned.

·To analyze and optimize product performance by quickly locating and fixing program errors through crash logs.

·To conduct anonymized statistical analysis to improve our services and user experience.

3) Storage and Sharing of Device Information:

This anonymized device information may be shared with our third-party data analytics service providers, but they are strictly bound by contract not to use the data for any other purpose. We will not associate device information with your sensitive personal data (such as photos, emails).

3. General Statements

·Permission Control: You always have full control. You can revoke any authorization granted to our App (e.g., Photos, Mail) at any time in iOS "Settings" > "Privacy & Security". After revocation, the corresponding function will no longer be usable.

·Data Security: We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures committed to protecting the security of your data.

·Privacy Policy Updates: If our privacy policy changes, we will notify you through in-App notifications or by updating this document.

·Contact Us: If you have any questions about your privacy data or this policy, please contact us at cleanermanager@hotmail.com.

B. Retention Policy

We retain personal information for the period necessary for the purposes of collection described in this Privacy Policy, or as required to comply with applicable laws. Personal information will be stopped retaining, deleted, or anonymized upon completion of the collection purpose, after we confirm your deletion or account cancellation request, or after we terminate operation of the corresponding product or service. If it is for the purpose of public interest, scientific, historical research, or statistics, we will continue to retain the relevant data based on applicable laws, even if further data processing is unrelated to the original collection purpose.

Information collected for personalized content recommendation and display will be stored on servers for 30 days. Device information, system version information, region, and language settings collected for authorization management will be stored for 90 days.

  1. Your Rights

1. Control Settings

We recognize that everyone has different concerns about privacy. Therefore, we provide some examples of the various ways offered by "iCleaner" for you to choose from to limit the collection, use, disclosure, or processing of your personal information and control your privacy settings:

·Manage permissions for each function module within the settings;

·Add email or number blacklists/whitelists;

If you have previously consented to our use of your personal information for the purposes mentioned above, you can change your decision at any time by contacting us in writing or via email.

  1. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information

According to the laws and regulations applicable in your country or region, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold related to you (hereinafter referred to as a "Request").

For more details regarding your personal information, you can contact us via the email address below. Email: cleanermanager@hotmail.com.

Most legal requirements stipulate that requests made by personal information subjects should follow specific requirements. This Privacy Policy requires that your request comply with the following:

·Made through our dedicated request channels, and for the sake of protecting your information security, your request should be in writing (unless local law explicitly recognizes oral applications);

·Provide sufficient information allowing us to verify your identity, ensuring the requester is the subject of the requested information or their legally authorized representative.

Once we obtain sufficient information to confirm we can process your request, we will respond to your request within the timeframe stipulated by applicable data protection laws. Specifically:

·Based on your requirements and applicable laws, we may provide a copy of the personal information records we have collected and processed about you free of charge. If you make other requests for related information, we may charge a reasonable fee based on relevant applicable laws and actual administrative costs.

·If you believe any information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, you may request correction or completion of the personal information based on the purpose of use.

·Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have the right to request deletion of your personal data. We will evaluate your deletion request and, if it meets the relevant regulations, will take appropriate steps, including technical measures, to process it. When you or we assist you in deleting relevant information, due to applicable laws and security technology, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding information from backup systems. We will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until the backup can be cleared or anonymized.

We have the right to refuse to process meaningless/harassing repetitive requests, requests that infringe on others' privacy rights, extremely unrealistic requests, requests requiring disproportionate technical work, requests not required to be granted under local law, information already made public, and information given under confidentiality conditions. We may also refuse if we believe certain aspects of a deletion or access request could lead to our inability to lawfully use data for the aforementioned anti-fraud and security purposes.

  1. Withdrawal of Consent

·You may withdraw your consent by submitting a request, including for the collection, use, and/or disclosure of your personal information in our possession or control. We will process your request within a reasonable time after you make it and, based on your request, will thereafter no longer collect, use, and/or disclose your personal information.

·Please note that withdrawing your consent may have certain legal consequences. Depending on the scope of information processing you authorized us to handle, this may result in you being unable to enjoy our products or services. However, your decision to withdraw consent or authorization will not affect previous personal information processing conducted based on your authorization.
